Brucejack
Brucejack adds a Tier 1 large scale, long life, low cost mine to Newcrest's portfolio of Tier 1 assets. Newcrest acquired Pretium Resources and the Brucejack operation on 9 March 2022. The mining method at Brucejack is long-hole stoping using a combination of longitudinal and transverse mining, depending on zone width and orientation.
Telfer
In December 2015 Newcrest signed an Indigenous Land Use Agreement with the traditional owners - the Martu people of the land surrounding the Telfer gold mine. The agreement provides AU$18 million over five years for the benefit of Martu, followed by a revenue-based payment from mining in the agreement area.

Tahltan Nation Development Corporation (TNDC)
Construction of the portal site for an exploration decline is a vital component of Newcrest's pre-feasibility study on development of an underground block cave mine. The exploration decline construction will provide access for underground drilling to provide more detailed geological and geotechnical information on the initial block cave.
Dividends
Newcrest targets a total annual dividend payout of 30-60% of free cash flow generated for the financial year, with the annual total dividends being at least US$ 15 cents per share on a full year basis. The declaration of any future dividend remains at the discretion of the Newcrest Board, having regard to circumstances prevailing at that time.
